1919–1923 selections primary source?

In his 1967 article for Sports Illustrated, Dan Jenkins directly identifies the 1937 Illustrated Football Annual as the source of his reprinting of Azzi Ratem / Boand System picks for 1924–1936.

But the modern NCAA book includes 1919–1923 selections as well, plus a different pick for 1927 than is shown in the Jenkins article and 1937 Annual.

Can we identify the primary source for these additional retroactive selections?

The Boand / Azzi Ratem sources that were used for the report that eventually made its way into the NCAA records book were:

• Illustrated Football Annual 1937: 1924–1936; 1927 Yale
• The Football News 1942 Review: 1922–1941; 1927 Georgia
• The Football News 1944 Review: 1919–1939(?); 1927 Georgia

Help appreciated on finding the Football News issues for the article.
