Any idea what type of cancer Franks had?
editHe was diagnosed in February and died two months later. Anyone see any mention of what type of cancer he had?

I don't think the type of cancer has been disclosed, just "an aggressive form". I think he was sick just a few months.WmMBoyce (talk) 21:50, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
I knew Franks for a number of years, and this is this first place I've ever seen him referred to as a newspaper publisher. My impression was that he held a succession of jobs as legislative aide or campaign worker and never held a normal job while younger. I think it was his family that was in newspaper publishing, that they probably gave support to his life in politics and government, and that in between political jobs he might have worked with them on a temporary basis, but to call him primarily a newspaper publisher is ludicrous.WmMBoyce (talk) 22:01, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
Article needs correction, Bob was in Teenage Republicans not Young Republicans
editin 1966, Bob joined the Summit Teenage Republicans by 1968, he was elected State Chairman of NJ Teenage Republicans and became very well know to leaders of the NJ Republican Party so well known that he attempted to become the youngest delegate to the national Republican convention in 1972
I do not believe he ever really became active in Young Republicans (18 to 38 years olds) or College Republicans — Preceding unsigned comment added by RWPoole (talk • contribs) 10:10, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
