Here is the missing "citation needed" <--- can someone fix this, please?
editThis isn't the news conference, but it cites the whole debate and gives it a time frame.
Drinkard, Jim. “Inman: Dole Plotted With Columnist to Hurt Nomination”. National Public Radio, Jan 18, 1994.
The fact, as the wiki page states, that Inman said "conspiracy" during a press conference, is just sensationalism. This refers to the charges and counter charges. there are other articles, etc.
I have never made a citation, and don't want to mess up the wiki page. Thanks.

Gap in Inman's biography
editIn 1982 Inman was the founding CEO of MCC in Austin Texas and served there for 5 years. I just put the former fact on the MCC page. He then joined a venture capital holding company whose name I forget, which I believe did not last as long as MCC. He also reportedly won one of the game shows as a boy or young man, $64,000 question perhaps, and was known to have an incredibly good memory. I'm not planning to research and edit this.
