The original posting here is by me, pol098; I know nothing at all about these meters, and don't know if they're a gimmick or have some basis in fact. The only thing I know is that these cheap meters exist, and I wanted to look them up here to see if they were any use. Also, the article could do with information on clinical methods. pol098
