Move from Boeing–Embraer joint venture
editFirstly, isn't this move a little premature? The new name has been announced but the deal is still pending, subject to regulatory approval. Secondly (when the time comes), shouldn't that hyphen be an en-dash? Rosbif73 (talk) 12:51, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- Indeed it is still pending, but the previous article name wasn't even a name, at least the new one is a name. I was bold, so feel free to revert I won't argue. I don't really see the difference between an hyphen or a dash, but correct it if it is needed. Thanks!--Marc Lacoste (talk) 14:06, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- I'll wait to see whether others have anything to contribute before I revert. I do note, however, that the deal isn't expected to close until Q4 2019, so this is somewhat WP:FUTURE. Also, Boeing hasn't put out a press release on its corporate PR site[1] (though they must have made some sort of announcement that Reuters have picked up on). As to the difference between - and –, see MOS:DASH. Rosbif73 (talk) 15:03, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- Nobody else seems to care, or at least to have noticed, so I'll revert for now and suggest moving to Boeing Brasil–Commercial (with an unspaced en dash per US English practice) once the new entity actually exists under that name. In the meantime I'll also create a redirect there. Rosbif73 (talk) 06:55, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
