Bias & promotional language

Is the content of this article taken from a promotional talk for the project? I'm encountering sentences like: 'For this reason alone, a new critical edition is a much-needed enterprise in the fields of music philology, interpretation, and history, even if it were to provide no new findings or unpublished compositions.' Or: '"This new complete edition - which I strongly recommend to music libraries and serious Martinů enthusiasts alike - should do much to bring his music in from the margins." says the musicologist Nigel Simeone, an expert on twentieth-century music.[12] The German critic Christoph Flamm reckons that the BMCE “fulfils the greatest expectations."'

Seriously, what the hell is this? It's as if this article is taken from a request for funding. 213.124.174.59 (talk) 10:41, 2 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps this is this reason: https://www.martinu.cz/cz/aktuality/1182-o-bohuslava-martinu-na-wikipedii-se-budou-starat-cesti-studenti/, in translation: 'Wikimedia Czech Republic and the Bohuslav Martinů Institute have launched a collaboration that aims at the composer Bohuslav Martinů on the largest online encyclopedia - Wikipedia. As part of WikiProjekt Martinů, employees of the Institute and students of Czech universities will work to expand and improve information about the life and work of the Czech composer.' Isn't this conflict of interest? 213.124.174.59 (talk) 10:44, 2 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
