First lady of Bolinao
editThe incumbent mayor of this most famous marine town, which is not only bio-diverse, but the seafoods (sea urchins) are more abundant here than in Dagupan - is Mayor / Dr. Alfonso Celeste. I wonder why his bio has not yet been created. His wife, UST classmate Dra./ Dona Maria Nieves Estrella Dazo Bordador Celeste, of Calvario, Meycauayan, Bulacan, might be a good candidate for Congresswoman for 2010. Mystically though, when she came to Poblacion, Bolinao and built her / family mansion thereat, 2 mega fish kills fatalistically occured and almost depleted the Bangus Bolinao stocks. Now, if witches, wiccans or spirit questors / white witches would be consulted especially Tony Perez of Ateneo de Manila, Bolinao]'s fate might had been affected by her mystic presence, or the curse of the dwarves. PROOF: Susan Roces accused president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of stealing the presidency not once but twice. Dra. Vez' mystic presence scientifically cannot be proven to have caused the 2 fish kills, which twice happened, during her regal reign as Bolinao First Lady; but now, Mayor Al her husband is preparing a mega-suit in the coal spill. Just wondering... --Florentino floro (talk) 07:41, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

– Google scholar search for "Bolinao, Pangasinan" (https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q="Bolinao%2C+Pangasinan"&oq=) reveals numerous results (exceeding 100 results, approx. 190 results) for the municipality of Bolinao as opposed to just 2 results for "Bolinao anchovies" (https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q="Bolinao+anchovies"&oq=) and 3 results for "Bolinao anchovy" (https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q="Bolinao+anchovy"&oq="). Also, per Google Scholar search, 3 rssults for "Bolinao language" and 1 result for "Wikang Bolinao" (https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q="Bolinao+language"&btnG= / https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q="Wikang+Bolinao"&btnG=). This means the municipality is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC of the name "Bolinao". Also, raw readership stats per page information shows: 2,757 readers for the municipality and 295 readers for the language. As WP:MOSPHIL now allows the use of <CITYNAME> only convention for uniquely-named towns, perhaps Bolinao, by way of primary topic, passes this convention too, just like the page move for Pateros. - Oppose Ambiguating Bolinao, Pangasinan, doesn't greatly help here. Current set up seems most helpful for readers given varied results of "Bolinao is" test in GBooks In ictu oculi (talk) 12:34, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Oppose. There is Bolinao 52, Bolinao Church, Bolinao language, Bolinao Skull. WP:NOPRIMARYTOPIC. Showiecz (talk) 12:43, 27 January 2021 (UTC)- Support all those entries in the disambiguation page mentioned by above user have their names sourced from the municipality where they are located or originated from, thereby making the municipality a clear primary topic of all these related articles.--RioHondo (talk) 08:29, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- Support per RioHondo. The town appears to be the primary topic. LSGH (talk) (contributions) 12:31, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
- Support. I've cleaned up the disambiguation page. As a result it's easy to see that the municipality is not only the primary topic, it's the only topic, and a disambiguation page is not required at all. There is no mention of "Bolinao" at Anchovy, or at Anchovies as food, or at Encrasicholina, and until there is it's more of a red herring (sorry). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 14:07, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
