Background
- How man countries/athletes in the games?
- Added. Courcelles (talk) 16:36, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- What about the closing ceremony?
- The official report describes in great detail what was done with the flags at the closing ceremony, but spares not one word for who was carrying them, unfortunately. Courcelles (talk) 16:36, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Swimming
- What was the slowest qualifying time in his heat?
- Added. Courcelles (talk) 16:36, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- I would include his rank in the text as well as in the chart.
- Chart should have been heat only, changed. Courcelles (talk) 16:36, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- 45 out of how many?
- 45 out of.... 45. Sourced to the official report. Courcelles (talk) 16:36, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Looking at Swimming at the 1936 Summer Olympics – Men's 100 metre freestyle, Alberto Conrad was a full 14 seconds behind the next person in his heat, and nearly 10 behind #44 of 45: an eternity. I would add that.
- Indeed, added, though I'm not normally one for "calling out" someone as that slow. Courcelles (talk) 16:36, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Who won gold/silver/bronze?
- Added. Courcelles (talk) 16:36, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Courcelles, any photographs of the guy? 1936, so copyright may have lapsed on any that were published at the time. --Usernameunique (talk) 06:14, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- I can't even find a non-free one, much less one I'm confident is out of copyright! Courcelles (talk) 16:36, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
