editThis page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) it was already reffered to on several other pages, (Kangol, samual L jackson, etc) and was added to provide link and history.
it also provides history of the type of manufacture, in adamstown PA (where it was ALSO linked... previous to my creation of the page--Fabricdragon (talk) 15:13, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

editThis page is not unambiguously promotional, because it provides a basic discussion of the company, as well as it's history in it's community. What, exactly, would qualify as "not unambiguously promotional"? Should there be facts about controversies surrounding the company, if any? Scandals involving it's founders or managers? The page for the Akubra hat brand (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akubra) has more graphics, but seems not overly different from this one, but there it is. Is Wikipedia looking for a somehow more neutrally worded description? Some specification would help here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Whouseknecht (talk • contribs) 16:18, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

editThis page is not unambiguously promotional, because... this company is a historically significant company. Plus it OWNS the kangol brand, which has its own wikipedia page! in addition several other hat makers have their own pages... Akubra, for instance
what do i need to do to get it off the chop list? --Fabricdragon (talk) 18:21, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
