The article states that "Bona fide is a back-formation from the Latin phrase bona fides", but that is incorrect: "bona fide" is the ablative case of "bona fides", meaning "in good faith". Have corrected. 78.53.201.61 (talk) 09:16, 30 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
