This phrase is complete nonsense "At the same time, Booka Shade pioneered the concept of performing dance music live". Look at the Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Intergalactic Fairy-funk, The Orb, Orbital, Carl Craig, Portishead, Altern8, the KLF, Laurent Garnier. This is just off the top of my head without even doing a bit of research to go further back into the 80s and even early 60s (think Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream -- maybe even Terry Riley and Phillip Glass). The article suggests this occurred in 2004–2006 -- those artists I quote were performing live in the 1990s or shortly thereafter (I have even seen several of them perform live during this period with my own eyes).

I have made the point more neutral "At the same time, Booka Shade performed dance music live"

I don't think there's anything usable here but I'll paste it here anyway:

"Instead of relying upon releasing records that easily fell within the boundaries of established genres (techno, trance, house etc), the band tried to develop a sound of their own, with good reception. Pitchfork has highlighted their releases and referred to Get Physical as a new Warp Records."
