http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/russia/1239-list.htm claims that the second ship, the Samun, is assigned to the Baltic fleet, but as you can clearly see in the RIAN photograph, they're both in port in Sevastopol. Perhaps it's only there for an excersize or maintenance, but it seems odd that a ship assigned to a fleet fifteen hundred miles away would go to a base in Ukraine instead of just going to Kronstadt/'Petersburg for repairs. Thoughts?
