Source for critical opinion
editTerrorizer Magazine (#168, March 2008) says, "This titanic collision twixt Sabbath and Gillian was treated with outright derision on its release." Featured in a column called "Lost Classics and Follies 2," writer Jim Martin says the album "flirts with brilliance," praising Iommi's guitar, Geoff Nicholl's keyboards, and Gillian's "monumentally unhinged, go-for-broke" vocal performance. --Torchpratt (talk) 07:18, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Why is this page in ALL CAPS?? 66.32.125.39 18:35, 15 May 2004 (UTC)
This seems more like a review than an article --70.112.113.123 17:04, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
It's terrible. Rewrite, please.
Sound
editIs this album radically different from Mob Rules? It's really difficult to find any Sab albums from the 80s/90s around my house. Dark Executioner 20:19, 26 June 2007 (UTC)Dark Executioner
Some say it's "muddier" but to me it's "darker" than the Dio-era albums. I'm in a definite minority of those who love the album.--MarshallStack 17:31, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- It's basically very, very bassy; it sounds as if everything except Gillan is coming through cotton wool. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk)
What was the other Dio-era song the band did on this tour? I have a bootleg from 1983 in Worcester, Massachusetts and the only Dio-era song the band did was part of "Heaven and Hell" (segue from "Zero The Hero").--MarshallStack 17:32, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
"Neon Knights" was played as the opener for the last few dates of the North American tour. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.142.97.197 (talk) 05:57, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Flute?
editThe album credits Tony Iommi with playing flute on this album. I cannot hear any flute, does anyone know what track contains flute? J04n (talk) 01:53, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Seperate page for tour
editI believe that the information on the Born Again tour should be a page unto itself, separate from the album page. What do others think about this? J04n (talk) 02:18, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- I just separated the tour information into its own separate page. J04n (talk) 05:25, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Remastering
editI have no way to confirm this other then perhaps this link, but in this interview better Tony Iommi and Bruce Dickinson Tony mentions that he will indeed be remastering this album at one point. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...ow_23_10_2009/ - unfortunately, this link will expire October 30th, so if someone else could find another verifying link that would be good.
Reference to the Born Again Cover
editIt seems to me that the referenced cover is the wrong one. There is absolutely no resemblance between these covers.
What might be the idea is that the version depicted is the maxi single and the version which is referenced is a re-mix. Please rectify either the reference to another cover or rectify the Depeche Mode, New Life article with the appropriate cover. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tonnypoulsen (talk • contribs) 14:34, 13 June 2011 (UTC) Also you should include Steve Joule story about the cover or at least make a reference to it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tonnypoulsen (talk • contribs) 14:43, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
