English
editI dont mean to be unkind, but it seems that English is not the first language of the person who wrote this article. It needs a major cleanup.
= "Star Wars" Connection
editReversing the notes to "Born Free" will not give you the Star Wars theme. While it does appear that there are similarities in the phrasing, and it seems likely that it may have inspired Williams -- it simply isn't backwards. I have been unable to find any reliable source to verify the claim that he ever said anything concerning the matter.
Regardless, it may be inspiration but it isn't even close to being the same if played backwards. Perhaps this is a translation error. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.52.154.151 (talk) 18:23, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- I removed the reference to "Star Wars" -- this is the first I've ever heard the comparison between the two very, very different scores. If anyone has a reference to confirm this, please feel free to return the text. Warrah (talk) 23:16, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

- That video is not on YouTube anymore. Even if it was, it would not meet WP:RS. Warrah (talk) 23:17, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Page with audio file only that does indeed demonstrate that the "Star Wars" theme is "Born Free" played "up-side down" (not "backwards"): http://www.mediafire.com/?k4tfcvqiu0y
I don't know if this is sufficient to be included in the article, however, or whether the claim could at least be mentioned. 66.234.204.13 (talk) 05:50, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
very unclear
editLook at the paragraph regarding cover versions. The article talks about the "Williams version" versus the "Williams version." If both of the cover artists are named Williams, you really have to include the first names to differentiate between the two, otherwise the comparison is literally meaningless.
