Talk:Boron, California

Latest comment: 7 years ago by Missaeagle in topic Bad Links

Gah! How can you have an article on a place called "Boron, California" without a paragraph explaining that the local economy is almost entirely built around the mining and distibution of boron, the element?! The article on Boric Acid points out that this town is the world's largest source of that boron compound, but the article on the town doesn't mention boric acid at all. This article needs attention from an expert in boron chemistry.

The link to Castle Rocks goes to some place in Montana, far from California.

That's because there is no Castle Rocks near Boron. It is actually 15 miles southwest of Red Rock Mountain and the town of Red Mountain (Ghost town). Missaeagle (talk) 13:56, 15 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

The link to the Boron chamber of commerce goes to a place that's trying to sell that web site.

Sure wish the Census Bureau would release the 2010 population figures. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.175.109.15 (talk) 02:52, 21 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
