"Cancer-drug refund scheme..."
editIs it appropriate to add details of this BBC article: [1], the implications of which are that this drug is acting as a test case for a licencing deal which will open the doors to the prescription of many other expensive drugs in treatment of UK patients? ddvmor 12:10, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Formula?
editHow can the chemical formula be correct in the info box when it doesn't include a Boron atom? Can someone please calculate the molecular formula and fix this? 67.93.205.78 13:20, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Done. The {{Drugbox}} template didn't have a parameter for boron in the formula. Fvasconcellos (t·c) 16:51, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Structure
editThe structure drawing is wrong. It doesn't show the two nitrogens in the pyrazine ring. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.92.19.253 (talk) 17:45, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- Someone seems to have fixed it now. Rod57 (talk) 01:01, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

as a non-expert reading this sentence:
This changed significantly when one of the first volunteers to receive the drug in the clinical trial achieved a [http://www.myelomaonline.org.uk/NetCommunity/Page.aspx?&pid=439&srcid=437 complete response] and was still alive four years later.
i expect "complete response" to link to an explanation of the term, but instead it links to a (404'd) external page. i think the external link should be put into a footnote (and updated, if possible), and an link to an explanation of "complete response" provided instead. the best i found was: Response_rate_ratio, but that can't apply here (to a single patient), as it refers to a rate of members within a group.

The article states "The boron atom in bortezomib binds the catalytic site of the 26S proteasome[6] with high affinity and specificity," but the article that is cited doesn't state anything about the boron actually doing the attacking. Additional sources are needed or the article needs edited. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.163.7.133 (talk) 13:31, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
