Is there any way to clean up the pictures? They are overlapping (the chapel) and it is pushing the Arrupe part to the right side. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.72.48.215 (talk) 17:53, 21 January 2011 (UTC) Is there any way to get the "Contents" box to appear on the left-hand side? For some reason, I can't seem to find the appropriate code. It looks incongruous in the middle. 141.161.31.47 06:46, 8 February 2006 (UTC) BCH Alumnus
You would have to move the picture, I'll do it Yanksox 23:30, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
As a recent grad from the school, I still have deep ties, so I can still supply some info. Yanksox 11:44, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Here is the link about the $12.6 million [1], I will add it an edit. Thanks 07:24, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Just a side note as an FYI: The image which is a drawing [2] is not depicting the pre-renovation state, this link [3] clearing shows how it includes the soon-to-be 2nd artifical turf, the new road next to it (they ripped up the existing one already), and the transfer of the tennis courts to the end of the stadium. ]] 01:19, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Can anyone move the pictures around the traditions to clean up the page a bit?
Thanks
GA nomination - on hold
editExcellent pictures, but some serious problems:
- There are absolutely no citations.
- Stray dashes near the bottom?
- The list of school facts needs to be consolidated into paragraphs of content.
- The majority of the content consists of history. Perhaps expanding the list mentioned above will flesh out the article.
Please review the GA criteria. The lack of citations is reason enough to fail this GA nomination, but maybe everything can be fixed in 7 days. :) Carson 04:23, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Failed
editIt's been in excess of the 7 day maximum that the GA nomination was put on-hold and issues relating to the original reviewer's comments still exist. Specifically, refs, in-line cites, and the general lack of polish (the dashes at the end of the article, for example).
Please re-read his commentary and use it as constructive criticism to improve upon the article. Do try again when you have everything sorted. Nja247 (talk • contribs) 17:37, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Disputed edits 8/2018
editI modified the section title per WP:TPG. Titles should be short, concise and neutral. John from Idegon (talk) 12:30, 27 August 2018 (UTC) Does anything speak against adding the following in the history section, given the unsourced statements in https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cheverus_High_School&oldid=855669916?
"===Sexual abuse=== In 2002, the school suspended one of its history teachers and Jesuit priest after a student alleged sexual abuse.[1] In 2003, the school's president announced that 15 men, 11 of them former students at the school, will receive $5.2 million for sexual abuse by two former teachers and Jesuit priests.[2]" Rondonia9 (talk) 00:07, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
References
- User:Rondonia9, the fact that other stuff exists is not considered a justification for placing it here. As User:John from Idegon, the school article guidelines (an essay, not policy), suggests not naming individuals who do not have notability on their own. At the same time, Wikipedia is not censored, and the Boston Globe is certainly a reliable source. Although it isn't nice, this information appears to be reliably sourced. While giving it a section of its own might be overweighting, shouldn't it be mentioned in the history section? Jacona (talk) 11:20, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
- Please note that neither of the two versions previously removed were (other than the same subject) even vaguely like this one. This one contains a clear admission of culpability by the school. I do object to source #1, as it references nothing that source #2 doesn't already support, and source #2 supports the key fact of the school's culpability (per WP:CITEKILL). Please format your reference. Thanks. John from Idegon (talk) 13:48, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
- Oh, additionally, this should appear as two sentences in the history section, not in an independent section or a subsection. John from Idegon (talk) 13:50, 27 August 2018 (UTC)

Adding more content
editSeems like the content is limited here...understand we want something properly sourced and in a proper style, but surely something with a little more information leveraging the edits that have been up in previous years would be good rather than making this article a stub. Things like history, state championships, buildings, etc are on other school's pages and think they belong here as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:1403:601E:252E:11A5:96AB:9450 (talk) 23:45, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
