editIndependent Co-Educational Day and Boarding School for pupils aged 3-18 years. Headteacher - Mr Alun Millington MA (Oxon) PGCE Location: Bryn, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA14 9TU http://www.stmikes.co.uk
St. Michael's School was first established in 1923, by the Rees Brothers who built its reputation of strong academic success. The current Head Mr Alun Millington continues to promote and develop the culture of academic excellence we have seen at the school's core since its foundation more than 85 years ago.
Headteacher Alun believes, "St. Michael's pupils achieve outstanding academic results because of the quality of our teaching and the excellent relationships that exist between pupils, parents and staff. Our curricular and extra-curricular flexibility gives us the chance to maximise the talents and abilities of each individual."
St. Michael's provides a learning environment where pupils excel - small class sizes, flexibility, a strong culture of discipline and a positive work ethic.
In 2013 St. Michael's was ranked 37th in the Times Top 100 Mixed Schools. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stmikes05% (talk • contribs) 10:03, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
