Song key
editThis song is definitely not in F minor. Chords are Am F G C. This is in A minor. I can't cite it though but try strumming along

Wow
editWho would've thought a song about an IRC Channel would've been so popular? — MichaelLinnear 03:27, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- I did. Check the logs if you don't believe me.

Links
editI added a link to the Boten Anna music video (with English subtitles) on YouTube. The other music video seemed to be misleading on its own, since it is neither the original version of the song, nor does it have correct subtitles, and the other link doesn't seem to work. Formats and track listings
editI think there is some mistake in these single versions. (CD) Single usually has 1 to 4 songs, while Maxi single has more than 4 versions of same song. If this really is the case that "maxi single" has only 2 tracks, it is misleading many people. I usually buy only maxi singles to get all different versions to play them mixed with different songs in a party. 88.193.209.181

- I was thinking the same thing. Someone needs to look into this. Bugefun (talk) 02:32, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
Now You're Gone
editThere seems to be conflicting information on who actually produced the track Now You're Gone which uses the Basshunter music - sources say DJ Alex, Bazzheadz or Basshunter. Mazzanet (talk) 09:08, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- There should be a merge, they are practically the same song, NYG is just a re-release more or less for a different market, in the same way that turkish delight gets re-marketed.--KerotanLeave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 22:47, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's the same song at heart, just with different lyrics. I vote for a merge, with a subsection for "Now You're Gone". Steveweiser (talk) 18:09, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- approve. I agree with the former comments. It's the same song, just with English lyrics. You can basically say it's a cover of his own song, and covers don't get own articles here, so this one should be merged too. -- Luigi-ish (talk) 11:56, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- approve, it is the same song but with a new set of lyrics. Someone please go ahead and perform the merging.62.119.40.152 (talk) 14:33, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, the songs are different. The only thing that is the same is the tune. The lyrics are different, the bass/instruments are different, the speed is different... I oppose merging. Majorly (talk) 15:42, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- Strongly Disagree. These songs, while similar, are not the same. NYG is not even about a bot. Jmole (talk) 04:20, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Strong agree, as with many other covers, and re-workings, they are integrated ito the same wikipedia Article, and this should also be merged. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.93.133.110 (talk) 05:26, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Strongly disagree. Completly different lyrics and sound. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.209.238.233 (talk) 22:42, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
strongly disagree - the songs are not the same. The two songs have completely different stories and, because of that, completely different lyrics. The only similarity is the sound of the song, but even that is changed - Basshunter sped up the tempo in Now You're Gone. And besides comparing the two songs, the page for Now You're Gone is rather long. Merging the two would make the Boten Anna page unnecessarily long and most likely more difficult for the average user to navigate. The two pages ought to be just that: two different pages. Redundancy
editThe sentence A German version of the song was released by Kid Bob, titled 'Die Dicke Anna' (The Fat Anna). and There is also a German Version of the song called "Die Dicke Anna" by kid bob. are slightly redundant IMHO 85.227.154.76 (talk) 20:48, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

PA top 25
editThe article mentions PA top 25. What is this? --Gerrit CUTEDH 22:08, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Subject of the lyrics
editQuote from text : Despite the esoteric subject of the lyrics endquote. Since when talking about a bot on IRC is esoterism or mysticism in any sense ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.58.142.130 (talk) 02:57, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- I assume that "esoteric" must here be understood in a transferred meaning, that is to say, something which is obscure or difficult to understand without special or technical knowledge. David ekstrand (talk) 22:37, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Mondegreen
editThe video to the song deliberately plays on double meanings, it shows BassHunter riding a "bass hunter" pedal boat (used for hunting the fish called "bass") with a capital "A" on it, down a canal.. Wrong, since båt and bot aren't the same word, it's no double meaning but a mondegreen, i.e. misheard lyrics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.16.79.178 (talk) 08:20, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
