In-universe

edit

{{editsemiprotected}} The plot section ends on "At roughly the same time this is occurring, Chase and Cameron are getting married." -- This is pure speculation and, even more importantly, in-universe writing. It should accurately say that the shots of Wilson bringing House to the clinic are cross-cut with shots of the wedding.

The sentence "Cuddy shows up in the audience after the ceremony has begun, though House and Wilson are not present." should be removed as it is meant to convince our readers of the simultaneity of the two shown events, but that's still pure speculation and addiction to simple, plot-driven narrative structures. The far more important aspect here is one of narrating through editing technique rather than mere plot. We can't of course state the obvious without a source, which is that the primary goal of the cross-cutting sequence that ends the season is an aesthetic one, namely to contrast the motifs of departure (House and Wilson) and joining (the marriage). But we could do without erroneously writing the opposite of the facts. 78.34.202.18 (talk) 07:26, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Agree. What's more, we can't even be sure that Wilson wasn't at the wedding, the most we can say is that the viewer doesn't see Wilson at the wedding. House almost certainly wasn't for obvious reasons, but Wilson? 163.1.146.198 (talk) 22:48, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Correct, that one had escaped me. 78.34.200.96 (talk) 01:09, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

-- -- They showed it cross cut for a reason; one reason Cuddy and her baby got to the wedding very late (just as Allison was walking up the aisle) because house was pouring his heart out to her (when they entered Wilson's office his eyes were red) and she would also need to spend some time with him and wilson going over it again before he Got ready to go to the psychiatric hospital. One more detail, at the wedding it is sunny and at the hsopital it is grey and darker. the stat of newyork is big they could have been tens of km apart

  Done

Thanks a bunch! (Only cross-cut is a redlink, it should be pipelinked to cross-cutting eventually.) 78.34.110.136 (talk) 17:55, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not Vicodin

edit

House was popping vicodin during his hallucination. He was popping oxycodone. This needs to be fixed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chironex20x6 (talkcontribs) 23:10, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you look at closer the bottle, that is not "y" before codone, its an "o", it was hydrocodone and in the page that was written until NovaCatz changed to Vicodin (just looked up in the page history). 62.77.250.171 (talk) 09:52, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I agree with the above (62.77.250.171). The one letter that could be seen before "codone" on the bottle was an o, not a y, implying the bottle contained hydrocodone, the generic of Vicodin. I'm pretty sure "APAP" should go after "hydrocodone" on the bottle, but they've screwed up scrip labels on the show before, like when House was given a bottle of Zolpidem 200mg (something like 20 times the maximum dose) to take four times daily. Anyway, it should be changed to hydrocodone. 173.72.39.85 (talk) 14:32, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Also agreed. Changed. Youngtwig (talk) 05:23, 16 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I changed this back to 'hydrocodone' again (it had been changed back to oxycodone). Really the article should just say 'Vicodin' since you cannot take just hydrocodone by itself. The label should have read Hydrocodone/APAP (the generic name for Vicodin).Sharktacos (talk) 05:10, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Kal Penn Not A Guest Star

edit

Kal Penn is not listed as a guest star on the iTunes credits of this episode he is under "Also Starring" like Thirteen and Taub (EXCEPT AT THE END OF THE CREDITS INSTEAD OF THE BEGINING ONES). On the other hand, Anne Dudek is listed as a guest star and should be added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by GOPTeen1995 (talkcontribs) 17:50, 16 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I removed "The segment with Dr. Kutner in it was a clip pulled from previous episodes. Kal Penn under the current circumstances could not attend the filming." I do not recall having seen that clip and suspect that it was filmed for the episode in advance when Penn was still there. –thedemonhog talkedits 21:49, 16 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
