Pronunciation and meaning

Should it be said that Bottega Veneta is pronounced [Bo'téhga 'Véhnetta] - with a stress on the second syllable for Bottega and a stress on the first syllable for Veneta?

And that Bottega Veneta means Venetan/Venetic store/shop (or workshop/studio/garage) in English?

I do not know but FatultiesIntact may know. Geraldshields11 (talk) 16:30, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

desire is subjective

Honestly I'm not hooked but shouldn't there be something about how their bags are SOO desirable?! It's in every editorial .. thegirlinwhite 20:31, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

No, desire is subjective. However, sales figures are relative, objective, and verifiable. Geraldshields11 (talk) 15:47, 2 May 2015 (UTC)

World luxury brand hidden signature

Croatian writer Giancarlo Kravar: The only world-known brand that is known for quality, and not by the logo is the Italian Bottega Veneta, based 1966th year. They create clothes for men and women, things for the home, pets, children, as well as jewelry and sunglasses. Bottega Veneta slogan "your initials are enough," perfectly epitomized the German designer Tomas Maier. Luxurious materials, unique creation, and everything is not expensive. According to the women's magazine Croatian daily newspaper Vecernji V Magazine, Bottega Veneta creative director Tomas Maier explained: "We want to be recognized for developing, not in splendor." Bottega Veneta adore fashion young women like the Olsen sisters, Kanlashianki, actress Leighton Meester, and Emma Watson, but also the "old guard" Nicole Kidman and Sarah Jessica Parker. Bottega Veneta - the world's luxury brand is a hidden signature. 78.2.73.149 (talk) 10:00, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

Who is the founder?

Currently, the article says:

Bottega Veneta was established in 1966 by Michele Taddei.[1][dubiousdiscuss]

However, Bloomberg lists the founder as Vittorio Moltedo.[2]

Please discuss. Geraldshields11 (talk) 21:24, 31 May 2016 (UTC)

COI

Dear fellow editors,

I removed the COI and Ad tags. I helped edit and copyedit this article and I do not have connections to the company; just a love of text. Geraldshields11 (talk) 03:26, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

I worked hard to address the edit issues raised on the article's talk page by the other editors. Geraldshields11 (talk) 03:40, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
@Geraldshields11: thanks for taking the time to look things over. If you've got a minute, could I trouble you again? I just noticed there's a discrepancy between the lead text and the infobox: the infobox still lists Vicenza, Veneto as the headquarters location but it's actually in Lugano, Switzerland as it states in the lead, per the Bottega Veneta website.--FacultiesIntact (talk) 22:35, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
Dear @FacultiesIntact: Was it founded in Vicenza, Italy and then moved its corporate HQ to Switzerland? Geraldshields11 (talk) 13:21, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
I used the HQ tag inside the info box but kept the founding location inside the info box. Geraldshields11 (talk) 13:28, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
Bloomberg says HQ is in Switzerland.[1] Geraldshields11 (talk) 13:34, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
