Lucien Ruolle
editBoulevard Richard-Lenoir was connected to the well-known French Abstract Expressionist painter Lucien Ruolle. Lucien Ruolle was also known in the United States. Ruolle's main exhibition took place at the Belmont Gallery in Chicago, which was located on the city's Magnificent Mile, and owned by Ruolle's primary dealer within the US.
Lucien Ruolle also exhibited a decade later, in the 1970's, at Cowie Gallery, which was located in Los Angeles. Ruolle's works today are in major private and museum collections around the world.
