editThis carving is over 500 years old, it was nearly 400 years old when the British Museum received it. The time it spent under protective glass at Waddesdon would be less than a tenth of its pre Museum history. So why "the more complex pieces were encased in protective glass cases, which largely explain why they are in such good condition"? ϢereSpielChequers 00:30, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
