- ... that the 1511 miniature altar in the British Museum, sometimes attributed to Adam Dircksz, is the only surviving Gothic boxwood miniature to have been ascribed a date by its artist? - These two articles are new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline, the articles are neutral and I detected no copyright or plagiarism issues. @Ceoil: There is an incomplete sentence in the "Triptychs" section of Boxwood Altar (WB.232) and you need to do two QPQs. Would you like to add an image to the nomination, the detailed sculpture is amazing? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:55, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
- Cwmhiraeth: have added the image (yes it is amazing)...will copy-edit further and complete the QPQ's. Thanks. Ceoil (talk) 22:47, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
- QPQs and copyedits done, but thinking of adding a third article. Will add an ALT hook. Ceoil (talk) 19:55, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
- Ceoil, you did not add the article and the final date for doing so would have been November 2. It being November 14, it is unfortunately far too late to add it now, and a 5x expansion would be prohibitive. Perhaps it could eventually become a GA and be nominated that way. Cwmhiraeth, is this nomination ready for approval, or is there more work to be done? BlueMoonset (talk) 22:45, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- These two articles meet the DYK criteria, the image is appropriately licensed. This would be good to go, but neither of the two QPQs you mention above is a proper review, both are just passing comments. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:10, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Ceoil and Cwmhiraeth: - I suggest we either give a pass on the QPQs or veto this nomination. If no one objects, I would give it a final approval myself. --c] (talk) 16:01, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
- evrik, since we currently have 141 of 332 active DYK nominations waiting for approval, I would be opposed to giving a pass on QPQs. Two valid QPQs are needed, whether from Ceoil or ones donated by someone else. Let's leave the ultimate approval of this to the original reviewer, Cwmhiraeth, though Ceoil should take action soon. - I will donate Template:Did you know nominations/Fountain of the Pear Tree Canals and Template:Did you know nominations/Wacław Brzeziński. --evrik (talk) 17:43, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
- I really appreciate the latitude given here; how kind of evrik to step in when I had taken my eye off the ball (reason is another editor added a third article, but its image got deleted and I became disenchanted, luckily the image for this was taken by a fellow wikipedian), and Cwmhiraeth for unending patience. Wanting to pull my weight, have done WFAB and Lalitasana. Thanks to all. Ceoil (talk) 01:01, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for your generosity, evrik. It would certainly be a pity not to have these interesting articles appearing on DYK, and I hope the image is used when it is promoted. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:27, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
