If it is synonymous with Puffinus parvus which is extinct, wouldn't this bird be extinct as well? If it is identical with the P. parvus, and the bird disappeared from Bermuda but not from Cape Verde, the correct terminology is extirpation. --Mlewan (talk) 05:50, 10 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
