Granddaughter or Great-granddaughter of Jesse Livermore?

edit

The cited source, quoting her, indicates she is Livermore's "granddaughter," which would seem unlikely, considering his DOB (1877), but possible. However, her own Twitter heading currently states "Great-granddaughter" and is more likely. Is a subject's own Twitter feed considered an appropriate source? I haven't located another source to replace the existing citation. Chachap (talk) 08:30, 3 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

A subject’s own Twitter is considered to be “not the best source”, I’m still catching up on all wiki rules but my understanding is we are not supposed to use the actual subject as a source on themselves unless prefixed by “according to X…..”. This would be especially true if a conflicting secondary source is present-even more so it’s rated as reliable. All that being said, I am not a fan of these constraints specifically because of times like these where as you say, it is highly improbable she is the granddaughter (vs Great GD) and she/the subject has no reason to lie about this.
