I did some major edits and was probably the first to really do anything with this page. I wonder if anybody else will come and do something more than me. All the color pictures, except for the one of the scupltor, belong to me.

Fair use rationale for Image:CIF Champs.jpg

Image:CIF Champs.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Valedictorians

How does the wikipedia feel about a list of valedictorians? And if we wanted to include this list, shouldn't we go further back than 2004? Shirley Ku (talk) 01:05, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

The names don't belong here unless a particular individual is universally (not locally) notable on their own and if so should be in the Notable alumni section instead of a list of valedictorians. See this discussion or Wikipedia:Notability people#People notable only for one event. I've removed the list on this basis – Zedla (talk) 23:12, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Revert of my edit of the infobox

@John from Idegon: I think that my edit that added info to the infobox should stay. I understand not including the notable alumni, but the rest of my additions should stay as they are productive (at least in my eyes). Very little of it. We do not name any staff but the principal. Accreditation is for naming of accrediting agencies like the North Central Association. Not certain of what the agency is in the part of the country this school is in, but I am certain there is one. This website is where to find that info. Not all schools are accredited. The teaching staff is not 67. It is 66.71 on a FTE basis. That distinction is important. The actual number of instructors really has no relationship to that figure, but it is a standard educational statistic and allows comparisons of different schools. The enrollment figure is fine, but it should be qualified as to what academic year it represents. You do this by inserting another line in the infobox syntax (like this: |enrollment_as_of = 2013-14). USNWR ranking is better discussed in an "Academics" section in the body of the article. You can also discuss the Blue Ribbon designations there, but please remember that any achievement needs to have a source independent of the school. The campus type is Rural:Fringe, not fringe rural. Again, a standard US education statistical designation to allow comparisons of like schools. There is no need to mention the language of instruction unless it is not English for a US school. The infobox template is used in many countries, such as Canada, where there are commonly different languages of instruction. We do not use the hours in the day line on US schools. It is pretty standard across the board, at least on a state by state basis.

It may help you to read the school article guidelines and possibly the instructions at Template:Infobox school. And don't let getting reverted dishearten you. It is just part of the process.
