Wikipedia mentioned on show
editThis show just ran a sketch giving the endings to famous books(Goblet of Fire, War and Peace, The Satanic Verses, etc.), but all altered to involve aliens. The punchline was "All information courtesy of Wikipedia". BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN 20:47, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Now now, it's a satire programme, so they point out the bad points in things (and wikipedia does have a reputation for inaccuracy). Also i should say this is off topic for the discussion page, it should be about improving the artical Struds 20:52, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well I didn't think the information warranted a place in the article as it stands, but there could be a place for it when the article's more mature. At least I didn't start a trivia section to put it into :-) boffy_b 20:59, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- There is an article called Wikipedia in popular culture for which it could enter, but the article is protected. ISD 08:27, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Bremner Bird & Fortune title card.jpg
editImage:Bremner Bird & Fortune title card.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:24, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Current series
editI just changed the current series to series 14. It started filming on Thursday 23rd of October, I haven't found any news of when it'll be broadcast though. 92.21.43.221 (talk) 23:58, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
- According to the official website the last series (Nov 2008) was the 15th series and not the 14th - http://www.channel4.com/programmes/bremner-bird-and-fortune/episode-guide/series-15/episode-4. Granted according to Channel 4 the first series is the best bit from a different series but it's probably best to change this. Aten44 (talk) 15:57, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Studios
editIs it usual to give so much detail on the studios ? And what does "Bremner Bird and Fortune was filmed up until the second series 11 in 2006 at The Riverside Studios." mean ? Especially as it adds that series 4 - 8 were filmed in Wembley. -- Beardo (talk) 17:44, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
