editThis page is not for advertisement of promotion. It is a biography for Brent Bolthouse
- Please read the section on biographies of living persons and conflict of interest. I have removed the unsourced/self-sourced material and rewrote some of the sections from a more neutral point of view. As previously written, it reads like a press release which is why it was tagged as promotional. All entries must be written from a neutral point of view. Please keep in mind that all information must be reliably sourced by verifiable secondary sources. Thank you. Wperdue (talk) 17:32, 30 May 2009 (UTC)wperdue
Notability
editThis "notability" requirement needs to be eliminated. A lot of important people keep getting challenged under it, while others, merely because they are university professors with publication lists, are regarded as "notable." You notability pedants really haven't a clue as to who is important.
In this case, Brent Bolthouse was mentioned in a tweet by Josh Groban, a multi-platinum international recording artist -- and I was very grateful to have someplace to look to get some kind of information about this guy. Bolthouse himself has over 28,000 followers on Twitter -- including the Ellen DeGeneres show -- as of 9/17/10, which seems pretty significant to me. Also, he's appearing on the website of Life Magazine at http://www.life.com/image/104011057?xid=embedimage104011057 today as well, as a significant paparazzi target. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skysong263 (talk • contribs) 04:17, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
