The UFO incident
editI am aching to rip out the 1965 UFO sighting incident. The text notes that Brentwood's contribution to this hysteria did not make it into the official documents, the footnote it cites is a dead link, and the names of the individuals do not produce anything relevant via web search. Moreover, the incident itself has vanishing notability in the context of the history of the town; it is more recently explained on-line as a routine in-air fighter jet refueling, which is the specialty of the NH Air National Guard. - Go for it. The incident is plentifully covered in its own article. Thanks for pointing it out, --Ken Gallager (talk) 13:20, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, and the two individuals do not even merit mention in our Exeter incident. I'll remove the paragraph after waiting a couple more days for objections. Spike-from-NH (talk) 15:59, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
- InternetArchiveBot has removed my {{Dead link}} on this, on finding that the link works. It does work, but it gets you to the website's search page (where "Sidoway" produces "no results"). The simplest way to resolve this quandary is to delete the paragraph now. Spike-from-NH (talk) 18:40, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
