editThe fortress defense in '41 is ommitted for whatever reason. How come? --Irpen 02:58, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- It seems that other articles were devoted to it, Hero-Fortress in particular, also Hero City. I always thought these should be merged somehow, but did not want to step on anybody's toes, as I did not create any of these articles. Balcer 18:06, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, it's pretty interesting. The single most remarkable episode of the Brest fortress' history is almost completely omitted. Pretty orwellian, if you ask me. Have added it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 217.184.96.69 (talk) 11:17, 8 April 2007 (UTC).
x its not Wikipedias place to describe the soviet defence of Brest in 1941 as "Heroic" its enough to say it was given the heroic medal later, other articles on brest are much more neutral and accurate Tim.bucknall@gmail.com79.69.235.162 (talk) 10:39, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
WOW
editI just made a major rewrite of one part of the article, what a hugely POV soviet propoganda mess.
