Schools
editAre there articles about any of the schools listed in this article? Ninetywazup? 00:03, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hello? Is there anyone there? Ninetywazup? 19:49, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
There were, but apparently they've been deleted. Look through the history for Eau Gallie schools.
I plan to add a GPA citation when I have time, probably tonight. Vastatrix 20:27, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Add back the Eau Gallie Schools history. That would be a shame to lose. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.86.55.170 (talk) 02:08, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
History
editAmong the details missing are those relating to segregated schools. The schools had principals by race. How did these report in to the Superintendent? Seems unlikely that there would be black Assistant Superintendents. District nearly as hard to cover then as now. Student7 (talk) 13:35, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- In the hypothetical article "Education in Brevard" we need history to point to "Education in Florida". The latter should discuss (and yet doesn't) Plessy-Ferguson and all the rest. It should also mention the statewide strike in some detail. I put in fact but no details. In Brevard, the lack of teachers was met, in part, by volunteers from Kennedy Space Center filling in for the departed teachers. Couldn't find an article on that so will need to look it up. Education in Brevard
editSomeone started this article back before we had some idea of where we were going. It appears now that we need an "Education in Brevard County, Florida" article, the higher level article for this one and an allied "Brevard County School Board." Student7 (talk) 15:42, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
