After looking at the IMDb, it doesn't appear that Brian Johnson of AC/DC played any part in Call of Duty: Finest Hour. Just someone with the same name (IV versus XIV). I'm sorry if this isn't the proper way to note errors, but I don't participate in this service. Thank you. Brian is the voice of one of the commanders: [1] Bryan Ferry isn't a Geordie as he is from Washington (which is in Wearside). The article has been changed accordingly. I still left the Bryan Ferry/cap comment there as a cap is a northern/northeastern symbol rather than a specific Geordie symbol.
- Bryan Ferry seems to consider himself a Geordie (my dad went to school with him in Washington, which only became "Mackem" territory in the 1990s), and he studied in Newcastle. As I mentioned, if you look at the album Taxi, there's a picture of him standing under the Tyne Bridge wearing a flat cap. He could have just as easily picked Hylton Castle or Roker Park if he identified more with Wearside, I suppose.
- BTW, please remember to sign your comments, which you do by adding four tildes ~~~~ at the end. Easy. Regards ProhibitOnions 21:01, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
The album 'Back in Black', rather than being "one of the top 5 selling albums of all time", is more accurately the 2nd biggest selling album of all time, worldwide. I've updated the narrative accordingly. Kiwichipster 01:33, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Sorry but its a fail.

Vocal technique?
This is just a suggestion, because I'm too lazy to do it, but if anyone wants to it would be a good idea to talk about his voice... he has one of the most unusual ones out there.
Seems to be well-developed falsetto, screamed to give it a fuller sound. Or it could be some kind of ridiculously advanced vocal belting. Any experts want to contribute? 82.32.177.83 12:20, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Emigration
When did he become an American Citizen? Any details on this? brob (talk) 19:06, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Sorry I should clarify this a bit. To the best of my knowledge Brian was brought up in the UK (North East England) so I pressumed he had become a British Citizen. Can we get any clarification of this? brob (talk) 19:12, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- It was a bit of vandalism, now reverted. Johnson is British. Bretonbanquet (talk) 20:04, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Question about Johnson's voice
This may be a silly question, but has Johnson ever been diagnosed with vocal nodes? There's a marked difference in the clarity and raspiness of his voice between Back in Black and The Razors Edge and newer albums, and I've never known if it was just a change in his singing technique or if he had damaged his pipes. Willbyr (talk | contribs) 19:11, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Good question. I've wondered if he has damaged his voice from singing above his natural register. Didn't Bon Scott have a higher register than Brian? And Brian has been singing Bon's material for years. --Design 02:27, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've never considered whether Scott had a higher register; to me it's always been about the forcefulnes that Johnson puts into his singing and the degree of rougheness that he uses. I'd say that at times Johnson hits a higher register than Scott, especially on songs like "Hells Bells." Willbyr (talk | contribs) 04:53, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
While Scott sang in his natural voice, Johnson did sing in a much higher screaming register on every song. However, perhaps the difference between BIB and TRE is the fact that he's a heavy smoker.
- I wonder the same, as his voice has changed a little; it sounds terrible on Fly on the Wall though I attribute this to the very poor production by the Young brothers; he's in much better voice on Blow Up Your Video, which has better production values (by Harry Vanda and George Young) all around. It's noticeably gone from being more screamy to being more growly; I'm sure there are better technical terms for this.
- If you listen to some of the old Geordie records, Johnson doesn't scream all that much; while it's part of his singing voice, he sings normally as well, and has a wide range. You might not even recognize him. ProhibitOnions (T) 18:00, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
- I can't verify it, but some AC/DC fans seem to think that he had surgery at some point. Others say he had a throat infection in the early 2000s. Personally, I think his voice on "Rock n Roll Train" sounds as great as it ever did. I also think, in fairness, it simply needs to be realized that nearly everyone's voice changes over time. Brian was 32 when he became AC/DC's lead vocalist. He turned 61 this month. Pretty much anyone's voice would change over such a span, let alone while screaming their lungs out as hard as he has for as long as he has with all the concerts, albums, etc. Harry Yelreh (talk) 02:40, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
Age?
He's just been on Top Gear and has said he's 62, not 61.
- He said he's 62 in October. Bretonbanquet (talk) 20:03, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Brian Johnson Biografia(romanian language)[2]
Cantaret britanic nascut in 5 octombrie 1947.Membru al formatiei AC/DC din 1980.Multi,gresit,il indica ca fiind al doilea vocal al grupului dupa Bon Scott:in realitate cei de la AC/DC incep cu Dave Evans ca vocal, care insa ramane cu grupul pentru mai putin de 1 an(din decembrie 1973 pana in septembrie 1974) si inregistreaza cu grupul numai un single, promovat numai in Australia. In ziua de azi Brian Johnson traieste in Sarasota,Florida,USA
Biografia
Brian are origini italiene. In noiembrie 1981 iese "For those about to rock (we salute you)" ce ajunge direct number 1 in USA si vinde milioane de copie in toata lumea, urmat de un nou tur mondial cu casa inchisa:sold out, numai Italia a fost exclusa.Asteptarea de a vedea AC/dc in Italia ia sfarsit in 1984 cand,cu doua concerte,in Nettuno si Torino performeaza cu "Flick of the switch", iesit in 1983.In 2008 a fost publicat ultimul album al grupului numit Black Ice,foarte apreciat de fani.Pe 16 mai,AC/DC va sustine in premiera un concert in Romania. For Those About to Rock We Salute You

pre-AC/DC
i heard he used to be a roadie for ac/dc. ill look it up and it may not be true. just something i heard.
No, Brian never did. Bon Scott did that. He was the driver of the tourbus for a couple of months.
Not quite, he was the driver of the limo, not the tour bus. It served as a kind of tour limo.
What the hell is that they say about him being cloned?! What am i missing?!
/* pre-AC/DC */ Brian Johnson's history regarding 1972 sits very well in my memory. Although this has never been mentioned anywhere. Brian was actually in a band called U.S.A prior to Geordie. This is a fact as my brother and I were actually present at The Bombers Club (Gateshead Ex-Service Mens Club) on the evening their name changed, unfortunately I can't remember the exact date but it was one helluva night. Brilliant performers around the club circuit. He worked at Sigmund Pumps, (Ingersol Rand) TVTE, Gateshead before he exploded on the big stage. So in a word Brian was in the band U.S.A —Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.99.184.126 (talk) 23:02, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
Genre
There are often edits around AC/DC and band members such as Brian to include heavy metal to their genre, along with hard rock, blues rock and rock n roll. While it is true that there are descriptions of them as metal in various articles, the band has consistently stated they are not a heavy metal band or a punk band. This is covered in biographies from Clinton Walker, Murray Engleheart and Mick Wall amongst others. Geordie were Rock, glam rock, hard rock, blues rock. Brian is not a metal singerFlatOut 05:07, 16 April 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flatoitlikealizarddrinking (talk • contribs)

the ***** best-selling album worldwide
This page says that Back in Black is "the second best-selling album worldwide" But in fact List of best-selling albums says it's the FOURTH world's best-selling albums of all time: (Jackson Thriller; 2 Floyd Moon; 3 Eagles Hits; 4 AC/DC Black.) Is it OK if I change the page from 2nd to 4th? Will you all get mad at me?Kildwyke (talk) 22:42, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
Religion?
The article says under personal life that he's an atheist, but if you look at the actual reference that's not what it says. It sounds more like agnosticism, but it's not explicitly defined. It definitely doesn't say that he's an atheist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:CA:4301:C000:FD8A:EE41:2D7C:11FF (talk) 16:26, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
