IP vandalism on Harvard education

An IP number keeps changing 'Harvard Extension School' to 'Harvard University', without using appropriate sources, and has now exceeded the 3RR limit. Presumably because the extension school does not sound as prestigious. A RS in the article already notes that Mast went to the 'Harvard Extension School'. Analysis of page views shows a 6X increase in traffic to this biography versus the prior 3-day average, which suggests that readers are looking to see how Wikipedia is addressing the recent issue about 15-year-olds. You can take a look at what I've added to the biography. With Jacob Perry (former Mast campaign consultant) calling the comments "vile", and with Palm Beach County Commissioner Melissa MacKinlay calling for Mast to resign, I think it is fair to isolate this discovery in its own "Criticism" section. Substantial cuts

An editor with what I'd describe as "occasional but focused" interest in editing Wikipedia recently attempted to delete over 5,000 bytes of content from this biography. I am hoping that this editor's and my disagreement on that cutting of material could be resolved with a community discussion here. Whitewashing

It was not "whitewashing". As Marquardtika said, a mention of the Facebook posts is included in the 2020 election subsection, and should not be covered twice. I also think the "Criticism" section that Marquardtika deleted presented an WP:UNDUE amount of detail and was inadvisable anyway per WP:CONTROVERSYSECTION. – Muboshgu (talk) 01:31, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

I believe the material should stay in the article. I understand that sometimes press releases can be a problem if they are self-published, but this is a press release from Representative Jerry Nadler, not Brian Mast. Also it would be better to not have a one-sentence section with no context provided as to what MORE Act is. I think it is fine to use a press release to provide that additional context considering that it is not self-published and there is already another reference that establishes the notability of the overall subject matter.--Jamesy0627144 (talk) 11:17, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

Re-reading my above comment, I used the word "self-published" when what I really meant to say "not third party". The press release was published by Jerry Nadler, not Brian Mast, so it is third-party. Even if it were published by Brian Mast though I think it would still be OK to use in the article in this case.--Jamesy0627144 (talk) 13:10, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

Fundraising on anti-mask

Received gop fundraising solicitation from him objecting to being fined for no mask by Pelosi. His position as anti masker should be included.
