Unsourced claims

edit

There have been repeated attempts by @Jcrowneman: to add unsourced material of a praiseful tone to the article, such as

  • "In addition to interviewing and hiring over 400 staff, Mosteller has been credited with inventing a patented event management system that proved to be incredibly profitable during the expansion of corporate programs at these Olympic Games." This is sourced to Patents a patent application, which makes no claim as to him hiring staff, nor to the item being patented being "incredibly profitable".
  • "Befitting of his behind-the-scenes demeanor, he has participated in only two interviews during his time with the President." That claim is unsourced, and it puts in Wikipedia's voice a point-of-view statement about what does and does not befit his demeanor.

This article is a biography of a living person, and under WP:BLP policy we take serious the sourcing on such things. The promotional tone is inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If the information is to be included, it should be sourced and should be neutrally phrased. --Nat Gertler (talk) 19:52, 13 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
