"Up"?

edit

Why is "Up" capitalized? Is not the rule not to capitalise prepositions? Lampman (talk) 19:41, 17 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I see from MOS:CT that the following should be capitalised:
  • Words which have the same form as prepositions, but are not being used specifically as prepositions
I guess that applies here. Lampman (talk) 19:46, 17 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

"An" before "historical"

edit

At the very beginning of the article, why is it "an" before "historical novel?" This is not necessarily incorrect, but it's also not standard — maybe consider switching? The article for the third book in the trilogy uses "a" in this exact same context. Lovely ludwigvan (talk) 14:25, 1 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
