editThe article says the aircraft had a wooden monocoque structure aft of the engine. Photos at www.raes.org.uk show what appears to be convention metal construction supporting the engine. The interior of the cockpit also appears to be aluminum. Perhaps the wooden structure began aft of the cockpit. D. Kinnaird 11/30/07
- Bristol Aircraft since 1910 states that the airframe was a wood semi-monocoque except for the engine mounting. The steel tube structure visible on the photo [1] appears to be the engine mounting. Nigel Ish 14:46, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
