Survey from german article
editThe german article has a source which links to a survey pdf that was found on the internet archive that 2/3 of the public find the carbon tax good. Its source [42] The Environics Institute (Hrsg.): Focus Canada 2012, Climate change: Do Canadians still care? S. 4 (environicsinstitute.org (nicht mehr gültiges Original) [PDF]). environicsinstitute.org (Memento vom 21. Oktober 2014 im Internet Archive)

Misleading
editThe description about the carbon tax having an effect on total emissions is a bad one to make. The only real question is what emissions would have been without the tax. So few people understand that carbon taxes don't reduce emissions in absolute terms, but in relative terms. Without stating this kind of information, in the 10 year review section, for example, it gives a false impression of the effect the tax is supposed to have. 66.23.35.54 (talk) 01:44, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
