Amenities

Costcutters
editCostcutters is a small local convenience store located at the Chantry. It's open every day of the week from early till late. The store also runs a DVD-rental service.
H.F Stiles & Sons
editH.F Stiles & Sons is a family owned-and-run butcher shop served by it's own abattoir. The butcher shop is located in the High Street. The abbatoir also provides to other butchers outside of Bromham.
Post Office
editThe local Post Office is located on New Road and the proprietor is Dave.
Top Set
editTop Set is the village's only hairdressers and is located at The Pound. The salon caters to both male and female customers.
Mark Wilkinson Furniture
editMark Wilkinson Furniture is the main employer in the village. The company produces high-quality kitchens and other furniture. Mark Wilkinson has two factories located at Jockey Lane and The Common and the head offices and showroom located at the Highstreet.
Bromham Growers
editBromham Growers is a family owned-and-run business. They package locally grown vegetables and supply them to markets and supermarkets.
V&P Collins Farm Shop
editV&P Collins is another family owned-and-run business. They sell all their own produce at their Farm Shop located on Devizes Road and in various farmer's markets around the area.
Sandridge Farm House Bacon
editSandridge Farm House is a bacon factory producing bacon from their own pigs to traditional old-Wiltshire recipes.
Greyhound Inn
editSituated in the Highstreet, the Greyhound Inn is a public house serving drinks and providing catering. They are supplied mainly by Devizes-based brewery, Wadworths & Co.
Oliver Cromwell Public House
editLocated in St. Edith's Marsh, The Oliver Cromwell is named after the military and political leader by the same name best known for making England a republic and leading the Commonwealth of England.
Westbrook Inn
editWestbrook Inn can be found at Westbrook on the Melksham-To-Calne Road. As well as beverages the Inn also provides food to hungry patrons.
Smithy Clinic
editA Physiotherapy Clinic located at the Pound, past Horsepool. It caters to the needs of sport injury victims as well as muscular and back ailments. Post-op recovery, Pilates, Aromatherapy are just a few of the treatments available.
Rejig
editWith the best will in the world, this article is more like a Parish Magazine than an encyclopedic article. There's virtually nothing about its history, especially the Baynton family, nothing about the fame of locally-cured ham, and the section on the football club was simply too much for a casual reader. However, as a start, it's not that bad; it has an infobox, and a good, representative image. Since I'm working on North Wilts history at present, I've pencilled this in for attention. As regards the above amenities, with the best will in the world, we just don't list every small business in every location; there are other websites for that. --Rodhullandemu 00:53, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
