Source of Literature Value of pKa of BCG

edit
  • It would be a great help to site the source of reference to the pKa value given. I happened to find that the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, 84th ed. happens to have pKa of BCG as 4.7 (also) on pg 8-57. Just a thought...(who can tell I'm doing a lab on this right now?) :-) --AtomicCactus 18:19, 16 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Chemical structure

edit

Is it necessary to have the free acid structure. we can have the salt structure instead. The name of the compound would be much easier. --Kupirijo 06:45, 27 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Applications

edit

BCG is also widely used for colorimetric measurement of albumin in serum (e.g. in medical laboratories). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paszcz (talkcontribs) 10:03, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
