editRemoved As the name suggest's it is made of bronze. from the main page - my understanding is that the medals are not specifically made of bronze but are bronze colored ( gold/silver medals outside the olympics are certainly not uniformly made to match the name ) - Peripitus (Talk) 07:12, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Brass medal?
editI just realized today that there is more zinc than tin in the 2012 London Olympic bronze medal and since then there is no tin at all in the "bronze" medals.
