Interesting Pacific/Asian features

anybody know how Brooke's "Irish/French/Portuguese-Jewish" ancestry resulted in her looking very South Pacific Asian (with a little Irish dimple face thrown in) looking?????

I don't buy it that she's primarily of European ancestry.

She claims she's Franco-Keltic-Galician-Semite, but it doesn't mean that she is ONLY of that background. I also doubt that just because her religion's Jewish that she's even genetically considered a Semite. I'm pretty sure that the "Portuguese" part of her contains East Asian roots. The Portuguese were all over the world and their mixed offspring often traveled outside of their colonial abodes. That's why you can find Asian/Portuguese in many places like Europe, Asia Minor, India, Australia, and the Americas.

The funny part is that you talk "Semites" as being the reason for her looks that you call East Asian, or even the Portuguese part. Of course the Portuguese part would not be East Asian and the only people outside of Portugal I ever heard call themselves Portuguese are Cape Verdians and Brazilians. Let's not fool ourselves, you know the Portuguese part is AFRICAN and if you want to claim some mystical Semitic blood, then that would qualify as black too. If you think the so-called arabs that you see on TV today are actual arabs, then you are insane! The Turks were the last to rule those lands and all they did was change their names from Turks to arabs. Why do you think they all look on the lighter side? Just look at Assad of Syria, they look Ottoman Turk!

I only came here because an article talk about her thyroid cancer (something a lot of BLACK women get)and I had never heard of her. I saw a pic of her and realized that I saw her before and that she appeared half black to me. Looking up close at her hair and other features, I would bet on that. This article said her mother was adopted, so it could be. Many people only think of what they are shown as far as people being half black and half white and the results of that. They can look like anything. Jews are weird too. Dancing with the Stars

According to Wikipedia:Neutral point of view#Undue weight:

An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject, but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject. Note that undue weight can be given in several ways, including, but not limited to, depth of detail, quantity of text, prominence of placement, and juxtaposition of statements.

I think that the table listing Burke's performances while on Dancing with the Stars gives undue weight to this aspect of Burke's life. There is no doubt that her participation on the show should be mentioned in the article, perhaps ultimately even its own paragraph, but listing the names of the songs to which she danced and how the judges scored her on each dance is simply too much detail. This level of detail in this article is equivalent to listing in an actor's biography every scene he or she had in a particular film; that information belongs in the article about the show/film, not in the biography.

Since this information is duplicated in Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 7), I suggest removing the table from this article. –Black Falcon ^(Talk) 03:27, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm sure Wikipedia policy is to title the page under the name that a person is best known as. So the page on Tony Curtis is titled Tony Curtis, not Bernard Schwartz. Freddie Mercury, not Farrokh Bulsara etc... VenomousConcept (talk) 18:00, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
