The contents of the Browns Wood page were merged into Walton, Milton Keynes on 26 September 2012 and it now redirects there. For the contribution history and old versions of the merged article please see its history. |

Inappropriate infobox???
editBrowns Wood is just another district of MK. It is completely inappropriate to use the standard free-standing settlement info box.
The ONS pop figures for "Browns Wood" are for a census 'urban sub-area' that is far larger than the Browns Wood district. It is completely misleading to use these.
I have deleted the infobox pending further discussion. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 17:44, 28 July 2008 (UTC)--John Maynard Friedman
- Suggest you check your facts before you make unilateral edits like this next time. The info box did not contain any population information and the comment about ons stats is clearly just a copy edit from other edits you have made. The info box has been on this site for over 12 months. Tmol42 (talk) 19:46, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Merger proposal
editI propose that Browns Wood be merged into Walton, Milton Keynes. Browns Wood is not sufficiently significant so as to warrant a separate Wikipedia entry and therefore should be treated like other MK grid squares and merged into the civil parish article. 30gl (talk) 17:23, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
- I support this proposal. [You read my mind!] --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 12:30, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
