I am the subject of this bio. Nice job. Two comments. First, "self-described?" The phrase is the subtitle of the book. How could it not be self-described? Please just delete that. Second, "Myre" is now a series of 17 books, currently in mid-publication. See https://www.amazon.com/MYRE/dp/B0CHQT3RNB/ref=sr_1_5?crid=38C9RFMRXM87N&keywords=myre+clayton&qid=1697160931&s=digital-text&sprefix=myre%2Cdigital-text%2C278&sr=1-5 Again nice job. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.9.85.80 (talk) 02:53, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

There is also a Bruce D. Clayton who wrote several books on nursing and pharmacology, and a Bruce D. Clayton who writes books on karate. Does anyone know if either of these is the same Bruce D. Clayton as this one? Dragomiloff 19:53, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Same guy, I'm planning on fleshing out the karate info. Thedarxide 12:41, 12 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
This Bruce D. Clayton wrote the survival books and the books on karate, but not the books on pharmacology for nurses and "growing up in the south" themes. Mashiro (talk) 23:53, 29 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

This Bruce D. Clayton has published a novel, "Myre", visible on Amazon. Please update. Not strictly a "non-fiction" person anymore. Mashiro (talk) 16:59, 20 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request minor update

edit

Thank you for referencing my on-line bio at http://mariposa.yosemite.net/karate/ClawClayton.htm. It has been updated since that time.

I received the honor title "Hanshi" (a professor emeritus of the martial arts) from Hanshi Vincent A. Cruz on February 23, 2015. I am now an 8th-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate, not 7th as stated here.

I would appreciate any update you see fit to make.
