Who Own's Michel's?

edit

I am pretty sure that Group Le Duff owns Michel's Bakery Cafe. The About page on Michel's site says Le Duff owns them:

https://www.michelsbakerycafe.com/en/about-us/

There are many press releases that indicate Le Duff owns Michel's. The problem is that it is not listed on Le Duff's main site. Perhaps they intend to rebrand the shops?

What happened is that Le Duff acquired Brueggers which included the brands Michel's, Timothy's and mmmuffin. Le Duff later sold Timothy's and mmmuffins to MTY. Le Duff kept Michel's.

Here is my write up on the research: https://irivers.com/page/brueggers

I think the best course of action is to make a page for Michel's and to list it as a subsidiary of Le Duff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yintercept (talkcontribs) 18:19, 25 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Trivia

edit
  • Over the course of a year, Bruegger’s produces approximately 70 million bagels, enough to make a stack higher than the Empire State building and have plenty left over.
  • In a year’s time, all the Bruegger’s bakeries will use more than 700,000 pounds of coffee. That’s equivalent to 19,600,000 cups of coffee sold each year.
  • Bruegger’s uses about ½ million pounds of roast turkey in a single year.
  • Bruegger’s sells more than 4 million pounds of flavored cream cheese in a single year.

I removed the above comments from the Trivia section. It doesn't seem to fit in an encyclopedia article, and quite honestly, hardly classifies as true, cold, hard "fact." Realistically, it's interesting tidbits with some factual relevance that really falls into the category of corporate advertising (considering it was pulled off the corporate website to begin with). But the bottom line is that I don't think it really belongs in an encyclopedia article. Dr. Cash 22:31, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I think the first half of the first fact is relevant and should be included, "Over the course of a year, Bruegger’s produces approximately 70 million bagels". The amount of cream cheese would be potentially relevant too if it wasnt just flavored. The rest I agree is junk. -Lanoitarus (talk) .:. 23:26, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Logo2edit.JPG

edit

Image:Logo2edit.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:18, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
