Merger proposal
editI propose that Brunei Premier League be merged into Brunei Super League. The Premier League was the top-tier league from 2002 to 2012, when it was abandoned and replaced by the Super league. Prior to the Premier league, a National Champions playoff was played from 1985 to 1993. This information is contained in the Premier League page.
Argument for the merger:
(1) All three competitions are/were the top-tier league, in different names. The Premier League is no longer played. Since the football league in Brunei is of very limited notability (unlike the English Premier League, which is properly distinguished from the Football League First Division), it would be better to assemble all the information into one place and write up a continuous line of history.
(2) The Premier League and the Super League have very similar titles, which causes confusion easily. A previous edition of the Premier League erroneously said it was the 2nd Division, and included information which was actually about the Super League. I corrected that. - Oppose: It does not matter what we think. If, to the Brunei FA, the Super League and Premier League are two separate competitions then that is how they should be on wikipedia. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 16:12, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose: If these become merged it will cause even more cofusion between the two of them. They are two different competitions/leagues and lets keep it that way here, on Wikipedia. --Aidan721 20:46, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

2015 Best Player award
editSorry but I can't find your source. Azizi was best player for MS ABDB (see here but not for the league itself (which is often awarded after the final game, but no mention of it here). 202.93.217.182 (talk) 01:04, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
- Now I'm looking at the DST Super League page and clearly see him winning it. Funny that it was not reported by newspapers. 202.93.217.182 (talk) 01:41, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
