Discrepancy Note: There is a discrepancy here. Duke Bruno was born in 780 and died in 843, not 880. His son's son also named Bruno may be the count that was reported dead at the river, but this is not the Bruno Duke of Saxony geneaology is familiar with. Bruno Duke of Saxony's fathers name was WIGEBART Duke of Saxony(760-825). Liudolph was born in 806 and died in 866, whereas Duke Bruno lived from 780-843. It is also possible these genealogy reports refer to Bruno, FATHER of Liudolph.(?)

Genealogy Report: Count LIUDOLF Duke of East Saxons 0806-0866 Father: BRUNO Duke of Saxony 0780-0843 Mother: SUANA of Montfort 0780-?

This seemed to be rather speculative, I replaced with a summary about the issue. -- Jake (talk) 17:03, 30 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
