I've added some citations and removed some unreferenced BLP claims. The only online sources I can find for some of the membership claims the article made were either Wikipedia mirrors or explanatory notes by the BStU in a republished MfS report; those have no clear author though, and I wouldn't be comfortable using them for BLP claims if there's nothing to back them up. The article should probably be expanded to include his ousting by the GDR regime, subsequent health issues and retirement ([1]), which happened in 1982 (not 1984, as the article) claimed.
