Fair use rationale for Image:Brussels Airlines logo.gif
editImage:Brussels Airlines logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:19, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Move Article
editI'd like to move this article Brussels Airlines to brussels airlines. On its official website, you can clearly see that the official name is spelled in lower case.
Moreover, I'd like to merge Brussels Airlines. I just don't see any reason why for every airline, the destinations that an airline served, have to be mentioned in a completely separated article. Therefore, I suggest to move merge all the articles that only discuss the destinations with the airline itself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Einsteinbud (talk • contribs) 22:50, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- I do not agree. [1] As you can clearly see they are saying 'Brussels Airlines' therefor showing the company name is Brussels Airlines but styled as 'brussels airlines'. Zaps93 (talk) 23:11, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- I disagree with the move as well for the reason given by Zaps93 (talk · contribs) and have reverted the improper move. If you still believe the move is warranted, please list at Wikipedia: Requested moves. KuyaBriBriTalk 17:29, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- If you look at Brussels Airlines' official website ([2]), it styles the name as "Brussels Airlines" everywhere except the official logo. I have compromised and made a reference to the all lower-case styling in the lead. KuyaBriBriTalk 19:55, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
frequent flyer Privilege
editI believe that Brussels Airlines will convert its frequent flyer program Privilege into Lufthansa's Miles and More. On this page, completely at the bottom of that article, Brussels Airlines clearly says that in the next future, they will bundle their frequent flyer with Lufthansa. There is clear evidence for that. See bottom of that press release: Since mid February the frequent flyers of Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa can use both carriers’ airport lounges. Soon the loyalty programmes of Lufthansa, Swiss and Brussels Airlines will be bundled. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Einsteinbud (talk • contribs) 16 March 2009
- The article states that the frequent flyer programs will be bundled. The rolling of Brussels Airlines' frequent flyer program into that of Lufthansa is a logical conclusion given Lufthansa's size compared to Swiss and Brussels. However, one of Wikipedia's core content policies is verifiability. Stating that Brussels' program will be merged/bundled with Lufthansa and Swiss as a result of their codeshare agreement is verifiable; stating that it may be rolled into Lufthansa's program is not, at least with the given sources. Edit warring over the inclusion of wet-leased aircraft
editCan everybody involved in this war stop doing it and discuss the changes here? Thanks.--Jetstreamer Talk 17:45, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- The project guide is unambiguous on this topic. "Please do not include wet-leased aircraft." As these aircraft are operated by other airlines on other AOCs, they are already listed on those airlines wiki pages. Brussels Airlines is not a exception to the project guide. SempreVolando (talk) 17:56, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, I know that. I'm also against the inclusion of these wet-leased aircraft. Please do not war over it--Jetstreamer Talk 19:51, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
Fleet information
editSeveral editors have amended the fleet section inappropriately, adding wet-leased aircraft and supporting information for the fleet from unreliable sources. Please note that the preferred reference for this information is the official national aircraft register (where available, as it is in this case), rather than unreliable sources such as airfleets.net / planespotters.net. Also wet-leases, such as ERJ145 aircraft operated by bmi regional and Dash 8 aircraft operated by flybe, are not to be included as they form part of the fleet of the operating airline, not that of the lessor (per WP:AIRLINES). The section has been reverted to the reliable source at 5 February 2016, please raise any issues or concerns you may have here first rather than revert reliably supported information. Thanks SempreVolando (talk) 17:57, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Fleet Update
editI tried many times to update (edit) the fleet informations, but every time it goes back to the old version.
I included my source, but it's obviously not enough to prove my modifications. Here it is : https://www.planespotters.net/airline/Brussels-Airlines.
Feel free to update the fleet data since I can't do it.
Have a nice day!

Air Belgium Gallery of Special Liveries
editI do not understand why we are not allowed to add a small Gallery showing the special liveries of the airline. It says:
DO NOT ADD GALLERIES OF THE SPECIAL LIVERIES AS THIS IS NOT ALLOWED AS PER WP:AIRLINES AND WILL BE REMOVED
The person who added this did not specify which rule of the WP:AIRLINES that states that such galleries were not allowed. The gallery allows people to see the special livery described by the text.
Also, please correct me if I am wrong, but other major airlines/flag carriers such as China Airlines have a small gallery for special liveries. An example would be China Airlines. If it was an issue of notablility, I would still argue that Brussels Airline is a flag carrier which is recognised internationally and therefore is an important article of Belgium (even though the importance scale is yet to be measured).
