Orphaned references in ISIL Brussels terror cell
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of ISIL Brussels terror cell's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "LawlerBoyle":
- From 2016 Brussels bombings: David Lawler; Danny Boyle; James Rothwell (22 March 2016). "Brussels attacks: suicide bomber was known militant deported from Turkey to Europe, president says - live". The Daily Telegraph. Retrieved 22 March 2016.
- From Schaerbeek: David Lawler; Danny Boyle (22 March 2016). "Brussels attacks: 34 killed and hundreds wounded as Islamic State claims responsibility for airport and Metro bombings – live". The Daily Telegraph. Retrieved 22 March 2016.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 03:28, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- I fixed the LawlerBoyle reference copying from the 2016 Brussels bombing article, where the original text was. IngenieroLoco (talk) 20:54, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
Genesis of this article
editCame from this discussion: Talk:2016_Brussels_bombings#Proposal_to_merge_Mohamed_Abrini_and_Osama_Krayem_articles. If a section on one person gets too big we can always spin off articles again. Legacypac (talk) 03:35, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
Cheffou
editSince Cheffou was released and Abrini was arrested as being the man with the hat, this should be removed: It is unclear if he is Cheffou. The next statement is enough (However, on 28 March, Cheffou was released due to a lack of evidence.) --IngenieroLoco (talk) 18:58, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
More info
editI think there should be more substantial info. This article can't just be a list of members. Also, I feel like we're missing members. Do the assailants involved in the November 2015 Paris attacks count as well? Parsley Man (talk) 20:04, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yes and I see they are being added. These attackers are all getting connected by police. We will be able to develop info on the cell as a whole too in time. Legacypac (talk) 07:18, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

Countries?
editWhat does countries mean in the infobox? I noticed UK in the list, but the only mention of UK I can find in the aricle is in a Daily Mail ref, saying one of these people visited the UK once !Pincrete (talk) 23:34, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
No connection with 2023 Brussels shooting
editThis article is about the terror cell in Brussels that planned and carried out the November 2015 attacks in Paris and the March 2016 bombings in Brussels, as the introduction makes clear. The 2023 Brussels shooting is not connected. There is no suggestion that the person who carried out the 2023 shooting was a member of the cell. Neither is there any suggestion that any of the members of the cell were involved in any way in the 2023 attack. Southdevonian (talk) 13:59, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Southdevonian: I have given him an advice on his talk page. Thanks for your good edition, it is clear the Brussels shooting in October was carried out by a lone wolf, and Brussels cell was erradicated many years ago. Tajotep (talk) 14:18, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- oh it said in YouTube it was Brussels isis 2Hello👋 (talk) 17:38, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
